One-day dentistry, fostered by the generalization of CAD/CAM, has meant a great advance in the quality of treatments. In this presentation we will discuss how its use not only improves the experience of the patient and the operator, but also can provide clear advantages in the efficiency and effectiveness of the treatments. In the presentation, through clinical examples, we will show how to incorporate this work system in crowns, veneers and overlays. Likewise, we will show how, in order to obtain good clinical results, it is essential to adapt our carvings to the limitations of clinical milling systems.
