Thanks to the constant development of conservative dentistry and improvements in restorative dentistry techniques and materials, we are able to maintain teeth whose prognosis was previously impossible, with the exception of fractures, the most frequent scenario for exodontia and implant placement in today's dental practices.

It is for all these reasons that the single implant is the most common implant treatment in dental practices, however, there is a lack of consensus when it comes to rehabilitating it in terms of materials, attachments and biological level.
